The Boy Who Never Grew Up

We all treasure stories from our childhood that captured our imagination and provided daydream material for days, weeks, even years to come.  J M Barrie's classic Peter Pan is one such story.

For me, the Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen film Winning London, though not such a classic, is also one of those stories.
In the film, one of the characters visits the Peter Pan statue in Kensington Gardens, and since seeing this film, I've wanted to find this statue in its magical surroundings.  It's taken my almost three years of living in London, and more than a few visits to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens to find it!  But good things come to those who wait; it is enchanting.

If you have spare moment on a sunny day, go and find it and enjoy a magical minute or two exploring the charming artwork.
