Charity Fashion Live

Charity Fashion Live takes on London Fashion Week SS15

If you follow R~A~J~E on Instagram or Twitter, or read this blog then you'll know we're big LFW fans. Being a London label it's very close to our hearts and this year it was made that bit more special by Charity Fashion Live. When the lovely Lucy got in touch to tell us about the live recreation of catwalk looks that would be happening over LFW, we couldn't help but be intrigued.

"This London Fashion Week SS15, in collaboration with The British Red Cross, Back of the Wardrobe are on a mission - to prove that you don’t need a big budget to be on trend, that fashion is for everyone, and that shopping sustainably by buying charity shop and second hand clothing is cooler than you ever imagined."

As I watched Jasper Conran debut his clean cut looks it was only a matter a moments before Charity Fashion Live tweeted an ethical take on a key look, the same again during the Sibling show - one minute I was wondering whether I could pull off an oversized bow next summer, the next, a model in The British Red Cross was doing it!

All the outfits created are available to buy here (all proceeds going to The British Red Cross). Even if you're not in the mood to shop right now, next time you are, perhaps consider popping to your local charity shop for a browse? You never know what you'll find.
