Milan Fashion Week - A's Guide to the Must See Shows

Milan Fashion Week - the best of Italian fashion as selected by A

New York is cool, Paris is chic, London is – well, I'm not disputing London – but for me, Milan still holds an old school, slightly detached allure. Some of the biggest names in fashion – Prada, Gucci, Versace – show at Milan and there is a resolute dedication to glamorous, Italian fashion that is so enticing.

So, if you're intrigued, here's my pick of the bunch this Milan Fashion Week...

Jil Sander
The queen of minimalism still reigns and keeps pushing the boundaries of what can be done with a limited palette and no fuss. Calm, confident and totally inimitable, Sander can't fail to deliver a stunning show.

Dolce and Gabbana
It's been a long standing love affair, me and messrs Dolce and Gabbana. Their voluptuous, opulent collections, often flirting with the ostentatious, never fail to disappoint. Always sexy, always fun... I can't wait to see what Domenico and Stefano have planned for SS15!

Stella Jean
Ever more popular with the fashion crowd, this proponent of ethical fashion delivers beautiful textiles from artisans in Burkina Faso and an innovative yet accessible approach to styling. We can expect a bright, bold and beautiful show this season.

With the controversial Jeremy Scott at the helm for a second season, Moshcino are guaranteed to produce a show to write home about.

Emporio Armarni
Nobody does tailoring like Giorgio Armarni and I could happily dress head to toe in last season's collection everyday, forever. More than a little excited to witness this season's offering...

I'll be tweeting and instgramming as much as I possibly can, so stick with me for the best of Milan.

A x
